MOU signing between SMC, Spectra Secondary and Crest Secondary School to establish collaboration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) training system sponsorship
In Singapore, two specialised schools, Crest Secondary and Spectra Secondary provide additional educational pathway for Normal (Technical) students to explore more skills such as Mechanical Design and Automation to give them more flexibility. Through hands-on, the training systems (MAP-205 & MAP-206) can aid students to understand pneumatic system for pick and place applications. SMC hope to instill students interest in early engineering. The signing of the MOU took place on 16 November 2023 at Spectra Secondary and Crest Secondary School.

Following the signing of MOU on 16 November 2023 on SMC automation training system sponsorship with Crest and Spectra Secondary School, they welcome students to visit their Open House from 22 to 25 November 2023 to better understand the subjects offered and the progression pathways after graduation from Primary School. The newly addition of SMC automation training system will elevate the schools technical education, help enrich students learning and knowledge on industrial automation, hopefully pursue their career path as future Engineer in Singapore.
