SMC PhilippinesCebu Technological University and Shoketsu SMC Corporation Automation Laboratory Inauguration, Conduct Specialized Training and Skills CompetitionCebu Technological University (CTU), in partnership with Shoketsu SMC Corporation, inaugurated the Automation Laboratory to advance technological education and prepare students for Industry 4.0. Equipped with the FMS-200 Flexible Integrated Assembling System, the facility offers hands-on training in mechatronics, robotics, and automation. CTU reaffirmed its commitment to innovative, globally competitive programs, while Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) emphasized the lab’s role in bridging workforce skill gaps and aligning education with international standards. Complementing the launch, Shoketsu SMC conducted specialized training on Electric Actuators and Instrumentation using the IPT-200 trainer, alongside a Pneumatic Skills Competition to enhance practical expertise. These initiatives underscore a shared dedication to innovation, talent development, and global competitiveness in an evolving technological landscape. |
