On March 24th, 2026, SMC Corporation Vietnam collaborated with Vietnam Maritime University to successfully organize the conference “From Training to Manufacturing: Digital Transformation & Automation”, on the occasion of the university’s 70th anniversary of its establishment (1956 – 2026). The event not only served as a valuable networking opportunity but also created an open platform for meaningful exchanges among industry leaders, academics, experts, and students on the trends shaping the future of engineering.

During the conference, SMC shared practical insights into emerging technologies, key challenges faced by enterprises, and potential directions for integrating these advancements into education. Notably, the showcase of smart factory and automation systems provided a vivid and hands-on perspective, helping to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world manufacturing environments.

SMC Automation Indonesia, together with its authorized distributor Riyadi Group, invited official dealers in the annual meeting at SMC HQ. The main agenda covered the company’s direction and strategy, along with updates on SMC’s product sales activities. The discussion was interactive, focusing on opportunities to improve performance in fiscal year 2026. This strong collaboration is expected to drive sustainable business growth.The event concluded with a plant tour of SMC Automation Indonesia’s newest showroom and manufacturing facility, demonstrating transparency and strengthening partner trust. SMC affirmed its commitment to continued synergy with distributors and dealers to achieve better targets in the future.

Shoketsu SMC Corporation at the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP) Annual General Meeting

Shoketsu SMC Corporation is one of the sponsors of the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP). The Annual General Meeting was held at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – Las Piñas Campus on March 27–28, 2026. The theme used was “WISER (Women in Intelligent Systems, Engineering, and Robotics): Shaping a Humanoid-Ready Philippines through Inclusive Innovation,”. This event highlights their commitment to advancing diversity, innovation, and excellence in intelligent systems, engineering, and robotics.

During the event, SMC showcased high-quality industrial automation training equipment and systems designed to meet industry standards and demands, catering to companies, universities, and technical training centers across various industrial technologies.
