Opening Ceremony of SMC Automation Lab

In April 2024, SMC Corporation (Vietnam) participated in the Opening Ceremony of SMC Automation Lab in four universities, including East Asia University of Technology, Lac Hong University, Dong Nai University of Technology and Dong Nai College of High Technology. With a total sponsorship value of nearly VND 25,000.000.000, the labs are equipped with SMC’s modern pneumatic automation equipment.

Moreover, SMC Corporation (Vietnam) arranged lecturer training programs in automation, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics. Students will gain information and skills from this, giving them the chance to access and familiarize themselves with the technologies used in factory production lines. We at SMC Corporation (Vietnam) would like to thank the universities for their invaluable collaboration. We think that this collaboration will serve as the cornerstone of SMC and universities’ enduring partnership.

Soon, the universities will be able to gradually achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly education, by using this solid basis to train the next generation of engineers, meet industrial demands for labour, and create a high-quality educational system.

Robocon Kick-Off at Lac Hong University

SMC Corporation (Vietnam) accompanies Lac Hong University to conquer the final round of Robocon Vietnam Contest 2024!

SMC Corporation (Vietnam) had the privilege of attending the Robocon kick-off ceremony at Lac Hong University on April 23, 2024. We are happy to have sponsored the competition, giving the five participating teams equipment valued at over VND 243,000.000, allowing them to build creative and functional robots.

During the event, Mr. Gerald Ho gave the teams kind words of support and encouragement and reaffirmed SMC’s commitment to continuing to journey with LHU on the conquest of creativity and knowledge.
